Quranic text

Quranic text is sourced from Tanzil.net and reproduced verbatim, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license. Tanzil.net requests that any copy of their text remain unmodified and include proper attribution, which we do throughout the site.

Hadith references

Hadith references link to sunnah.com for the individual hadith cited. Hadith texts themselves are in the public domain; sunnah.com is credited as our source for compilation, numbering, and translation references.

Software

• adhan — JavaScript library for prayer time calculations, by Batoul Apps. Licensed under the MIT License.
• Next.js and its underlying dependencies — used to build this website. Licensed under the MIT License (and other permissive open-source licenses; see each package for details).
• Various other open-source packages used in building HandyQuran are listed in our repository's dependency manifest, each under its own permissive (typically MIT) license.

Fonts
